Privacy Policy

SKJ APPS (“we”, “us”) built FinderCraft, a native macOS utility. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to sell you the app, deliver your license, and support you. This policy explains what that is and how it is handled.

Your files stay on your Mac

FinderCraft performs its work - moving, copying, renaming, comparing, tagging, and organizing files - locally on your Mac. The contents of your files and folders are never sent to us or to anyone else, and FinderCraft does not upload or index your drive.

No tracking or analytics

FinderCraft contains no third-party advertising, no usage analytics, and no behavioral tracking. We do not build a profile of how you use the app.

Licensing

To activate your purchase and keep your license valid, the app sends your license key and a one-way hashed hardware identifier - a short code derived from your Mac, not your name or hostname - to our licensing server over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. This confirms your license is valid and counts how many Macs it is active on (up to three per license). Your license is stored securely in the macOS Keychain on your own Mac.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects the billing information it needs to take payment and handle tax (including your email address and country). We receive your email address and order details so we can deliver your license key and provide support. Paddle’s handling of your data is covered by the Paddle Buyer Privacy Notice.

Email

We use your email address to send your license key and essential messages about your license or the app. We do not sell your email address, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep order and license records for as long as needed to provide support and licensing and to meet our tax and legal obligations. You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@findercraft.app. Deleting your data may end an active license.

Children

FinderCraft is a productivity tool and is not directed to children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed; material changes will be reflected on this page.
